I know we all have different colors but I wonder if I should get some kind of charm to put on it? A sparkly G, or something. At least if someone confuses mine with Greer's we live in the same suite.

oh, a charm would be so cute! better than the old "sharpie on the solo cup" routine, anyway.

Right? Someone told me there's a gachapon room here, but I haven't managed to find it yet.

Have you explored much yet? I'm starting to get the hang of things, but I still end up lost half the time. Kind of embarrassing for a New Yorker to get turned around in one house.

as long as we don't get a trap room, i'll be happy.

in fairness, i think we can cut ourselves a little slack when the layout keeps changing. even williamsburg stays still, you know?

I heard something about a meat room the other day. Best case scenario might be a meat locker? But I'm not so sure I want to find it either way.

Very true. Even when The Meatball Shop moves to a different spot on Bedford, at least Bedford doesn't magically grow 3 miles longer. Except it does feel that way in heels, sometimes.

And now I'm hungry for meatballs. Still don't want to find the meat room, though, if some house entity is listening in.

i was gonna say, i wouldn't say no to some charcuterie or a dry-aged steak, but something tells me that's wishful thinking.

maybe if we say, really nicely, that we'd like to find the gachapon room, it'll be more likely to happen?

Okay, proposing that after our next Zumba class we find somewhere to get charcuterie.

Is this what manifesting is? We're manifesting the gachapon room around our first corner.

I'm not sure I actually believe in all of that, but I didn't believe in magic or pocket dimensions until a few weeks ago. I still think there might be scientific explanations for all of the magic, actually.

you know, i never read the secret, but i think it's something like this.

i'm still not sure what i think. about this place, i mean. the earth i come from doesn't really have anything supernatural to speak of, but it's not like i can come here and say none of it's real — unless this is a really, really elaborate break from reality. (which would be a shame. you're too sweet to be just a figment of my imagination!)

Hi Jackie! I swear this house has everything you can imagine. Plus things you can't imagine.

That sounds fun, though! I don't know how good I'll be at it but I could get into painting a mug, or something like that.

And yeah, right? I swear people are finding new things all the time. I don't remember if the option to paint mugs is in the art studio but we can always ask.

I can't decide if bringing our own mugs to parties would make it easier to avoid all the weird spiked stuff, or if a cute decorated mug would just attract more of the weird spiked stuff

You know what, I don't know if anyone's tried that before or not. [ she certainly hadn't thought of it before. ] A mug might be conspicuous, but maybe a cup with a lid? Or a flask?

You're also sweet, Amy. Fingers crossed we're not both figments of each other's imagination? (I don't think it works like that, but you know.)

Some wild things have happened in the New York I come from, but definitely not "multiple universes" wild. Mostly genetic experiments gone awry.

I was actually supposed to be starting a biochem program at Oxford right before I blipped here. I guess I'm having parts of the college experience, but not the ones I was expecting.

genetic experiments? i'm starting to think i might come from the least interesting version of earth.

oxford, how exciting! congratulations! hopefully you'll still be able to make it there.
i'm assuming you mean the partying, to put it politely. it's kind of crazy, isn't it? like a totally different take on the usual alien abduction theories.

Do you think bedazzled flasks falls under the art studio's jurisdiction, or will we need to start a different kind of craft night?

If it makes you feel any better, "interesting" in my world meant my old supervisor tried to turn everyone in New York into lizards.

God, do you think there are any aliens here? Apparently there are werewolves and vampires.

I mean at the very least they've gotta have sequins or something, right? And we can probably find our own flasks. Or mugs.

i don't see why not! i haven't seen any little green men walking around, but there's nothing to say aliens wouldn't look like fabio in a place like this.
